Lynne has a degree in Bachelor of Social Science and Social Welfare. She has worked with an NGO as a Therapeutic Case Manager for children and young people in Intensive Therapeutic Residential Care.
Lynne has her own lived experience as a foster carer for 23 years for a child with a severedisability and in addition is a Legal Guardian, Financial Manager and Therapeutic Case Manager.
Lynne has extensive knowledge working with Children & Young Persons (CYP) in crisis care and has great knowledge in assisting with transitions to other services or alternative arrangements. She has worked with children in Out of Home Care, crisis and alternative accommodation. Lynne has experience in restoration; preservation and permanency of CYP in the community.
Lynne’s other roles have included work with the NSW Department of Education and Training in administration and other NGO’S working primarily with children with complex needs, supporting families journeying through the restoration or preservation processes including preparation for court.
Lynne is passionate about advocating for CYP and adults living with a disability and empowering them to life their life to the fullest and with quality.
