Lauren is a Clinical Psychologist currently completing a PhD. Prior to commencing as a Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner, she gained extensive experience as a Specialist Psychologist working within forensic settings where she provided trauma-informed care, psychological assessment, and intervention to high-risk maximum-security male and female individuals, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Lauren’s work involved addressing acute presentations and diverse needs, including self-harm, suicidal behaviour, severe and complex personality disorders, aggression, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury, and vulnerabilities associated with other mental health conditions.
In addition, Lauren has experience performing developmental, cognitive, and learning assessments and providing comprehensive written reports within a private practice setting. She has experience within outpatient NSW Health teams, working with individuals with moderate to severe mental health issues, including mood-based and/or personality-driven presentations, as well as emerging psychosis. Lauren has also provided individual and family interventions in a private practice setting.
